In fullfilment of his campaign promises to the people of Enugu state, the governor, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has flagged-off some roads in the states. The roads are 9th mile-Nsude road, Amankwo-Amaeke-Ama brewery bye-pass, Abakpa Nike-Nike lake roads, dualization of Opi-Nsukka road.
Other roads include Market road Nsukka and University gate road. Speaking during the flag-off, governor Ugwuanyi said that the gesture was in line with his campaign promises to consruct the roads which were in a very deplorable state to alleviate the sufferings of motorists and put smiles on the faces of the people. He urged the contractors handling the projects to execute the projects according to specifications and deliver at specified period.
In company of the governor were the deputy governor, Hon.(Mrs) Cecilia Ezilo, the speaker Enugu House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Edward Ubochi, the secretary to the state government, Elder Gabriel Ajah, chief of Staff, Sir Victor Atuonwu, commissioner for works and infrastructure, Hon. Patrick Ikpenwa among others.
