Police in Anambra paraded 15 persons for robbery and other criminal

Anambra State Police Command were yesterday paraded 15 persons allegely involved in various criminal activities including robbering, raping , car snatching and other criminal acts in various  parts of the state.
Addressing the newsmen while parading the suspects at the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS at Awkuzu in Oyi L.G.A in the State, the Police Public Relation Officer , Mr. Ali Okechukwu said that they were arrested in various criminal activities which include one Chinenye Egeonu from Aba , Abia State was arrested for allegedly snatched a trailer truck from one Suleiman Mohammed at Oba, a driver to Dangote cement  loaded about 900 bags of cement belonging to an popular man in the country.
According to him, following the tip off on October 3rd 2015, the men of SARS went to Aba and discovered the trailer with Reg No SML 314 XA  and also arrested the suspect.
Among the suspects paraded were Maxwell Obemana, Chukwunonso Nwosu and Ugochukwu Simon , who were attached to Udide Villante Service in Awka were allegedly involved in armed robbery and  rape of one Amaka, a student of Unizik at Temperate Site Awka.
The PPRO also said that another group of a gangs suspected as  bandits were arrested for snatched Mark Trailer with Registration No SMK 575 loaded with 187 Day long Motorcycles were also paraded.The suspects include one Ebuka from Arochukwu , Abia State qnd Ifeanyi Udeozor form Awgu, Enugu State.
Another members of suspect comparising Ebube Okeke from  Ihiala , Chijioke Okwueso from Okija, Onyedika Kennedy trom Enugu and Ujunwa Ikwuka from IAhiala erer arrested for robbering one Amah Chinyere of Umunamehi of her Toyota Rav- with Reg. No KJA 852 BC at gun point were arrested.
