jubilation in Umueze Anam as Obiano tours the town

                                                                
                                                     

The Anambra State government has reiterated his commitment towards fulfilling various promises made to Anambrians during last electioneering campaign. This was disclosed at Umueze Anam, Anambra West Local Government by His Excellency the Executive Governor of Anambra chief Willie Obiano during his “Thank You Tour “of all the twenty-one local councils of the State. Chief Obiano stated that he was in Anambra West to appreciate and say thank you to ANAMBRA West people for voting massively for APGA candidates during the last election.  He encouraged them to keep on supporting his administration and promise to provide more dividend of democracy to the people of the local council.

Speaking at the event, the APGA National Chairman, Chief Norbert Obi expressed gratitude to the State Governor for fulfilling his campaign promises to Anambra people. Chief Obi appealed to APGA supporters and indeed Anambrians to rally ground the Governor so that his second bid ambition would be actualize. He therefore thanked the people of the local council for voting massively for APGA candidates during the last general election.

In the same vein, member representing Anambra East and West in the National Assembly Hon.  Barrister Madubueze expressed gratitude to the State government and stated that Anambra West people are solidly behind his administration as well as his second term ambition.  Hon Madubueze therefore encouraged the people of the Local council to keep on supporting the present administration.

Similarly, the chairman of Anambra North Council of Traditional rulers and the Traditional ruler of Ifite Anam HRH Igwe Nnose who spoke on behalf of other traditional rulers present at the occasion thanked the State government and pledge the support of the traditional rulers from the local council.

In his vote of thanks, the member representing Anambra West in the State House of Assembly Hon. Victor Okoye thanked his Excellency chief Willie Obiano for providing dividend of democracy to the people of Anambra west and Anambrians in general.  He also thanked the people of the Local council for voting massively for him and his party APGA during the last election. He therefore assured the State government total support of the local council.
