Fire destroys 6 bed room flat renders occupants homeless in Awka

Occupants of a six bed room flat that was destroyed by fire at high tension road along Aroma junction, Awka Anambra state have sent a save our soul message to the state government.
The rooms and property were destroyed but no casualty was recorded.

One of the occupants, Mr Ugochukwu Amadi explained that the incident was caused by illegal electricity connection and rendered many of them homeless and in hopeless condition.

He disclosed that before fire fighters could come the entire building had been burnt down.

On her part, Mrs Nkeiruka Chukwu appealed to the state government to come to their aid, stating that she lost all her properties including her children’s credentials.
