This was as he called on Nigerians to accord maximum support to President Muhammadu Buhari and his team in their quest to get Nigeria out of the difficult situation it had been consigned to by the past administration.
El-Rufai, who disclosed this yesterday during a courtesy visit to the Minister in his office in Abuja, recounted how he and Mohammed struggled in the All Progressives Congress, APC, to the extent that the party’s ex-spokesman even got abducted.
He explained that his visit was to wish the minister well and to let him know the thoughts and prayers of the people of Kaduna State were with him.
Responding, the Minister expressed excitement at the visit and called Governor El-Rufai “one of our brightest and most courageous”. He further expressed confidence in the ability of the governor to make Kaduna State one of the best states in the country.
Mohammed said his vision was to leverage on the unique power of information and culture to drive the change agenda of the Buhari administration and ensure that Nigerians take ownership of the agenda, with a view to achieving a paradigm shift in the way they do things.
He promised that the Ministry of Information and Culture would soon launch a massive, national reorientation campaign as part of the efforts to drive the change agenda, and expressed hope that the government of Kaduna would collaborate with the ministry to ensure a successful campaign.
