(iStock)The burial arrangements of the former governor of Kogi State and the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate in last Saturday’s governorship election in the state, Abubakar Audu took a new twist on Monday morning, reports Premium Times.

There were rumours that Audu had resurrected following prayers offered by a prophet, who showed up at Audu’s residence just before the commencement of the burial arrangements.

The prophet, who was joined in prayers by sympathizers, was said to have revived Audu and brought him back to life.

There was wild jubilation in and around Audu’s residence over his rumoured resurrection.

Thousands of other sympathizers trooped into his residence as rumours of his revival spreads.

Meanwhile, Audu has finally been buried according to Islamic rites.
