Speaking at the occasion, the governor urged all APGA and intending members to avail themselves of the opportunity of the exercise because the party was undergoing a serious restructuring to enable it enhance its electoral fortunes in future elections in the country.

While welcoming the new members into the APGA family, the governor assured them that they would be given equal opportunity in the party.
The national chairman of the party in his speech said the exercise was aimed at energizing and re-positioning the party.

“We have a new exco and we have to do that to make sure that those whose registration cards have expired will have them renewed and updated. It is an on going exercise and it is going on nationwide.”
