Chelsea long serving English defender John Terry has urged his Chelsea team mates to rally round their coach Jose Mourinho, describing the controversial Portuguese trainer as the right man to get the club out of their recent slump. The champions' torrid start to the current season continued last weekend at home to Southampton, when the saints came, saw and conquered the homers 1-3 even in the presence of the home fans.
But Terry has since radiated some optimism that the widely traveled Coach will get the club out of the hole which they currently found themselves. Terry told his club's official website www.chelsea.com "We have a big group of players, and we have the best manager in the world whom we continue to trust, and in no distant time the expected results will start coming and the fans will enjoy watching us again, starting with our next game against Aston Villa. I have been here a long time and i have seen managers come and go and if there is anyone who will get us out of the hole it got to be certain Jose Mourinho. And the players will remain united and fight and keep fighting for the supporters because they were excellent on Saturday, even though a section of them were booing our coach after the withdrawal of goal scorer Willian." The west Londoners recent defeat against the saints left them languishing in sixteenth position on the log and the club's captain has insisted that the current standing will not remain the same as he expects his side to even mount a serious challenge for the title they won last season.
