Shame as Wife beaten, stripped naked by angry mob

                                                  
A 40-year-old tipper driver in Irri, Isoko-South Local Government Area of Delta State, identified as Umukoro, had a bitter taste of his actions when an angry mob descended him and beat him to a pulp, before stripping him naked for allegedly beating wife to a state of coma.

According to residents of the community, Umukoro was fond of beating his wife at the slightest provocation and on the day of the incident, he had beaten her so severely, using a pestle to hit her on the head, leading to her slumping and fell unconscious.

Thinking the wife was dead, Umukoro, a father of two, attempted to flee from the community but he was apprehended and given a sound beating.
