Reactions Over Obiano's Aids

                                                
There is this argument that Obiano has about 150 aides. Infact he has aides in every area and sector including SA on ogbu Oja(flute), SA on fish, SA on Agriculture, SA on youths, SA on youths empowerment, SA on politics, SA on political matters, and so many of them.

Some areas like politics, protocol, media, youths etc have about 3 to 4 SAs each.

At the Federal level, president Muhammadu Buhari asked the senate for approval of only 15 aides.

Why cant Obiano maintain a slim and lean govt?

In the month of August, Obiano received state allocation of #2,242,560,694.22. While the 21 local govts got total summary of LGA #2,235,096,005.44. The sum total amounts to about #4.4billion naira from the federation account including the #1.3billion naira IGR, which will bring the revenue to the state, in the month of August to about #5.7billion naira.

From the above, we see no reason projects should be abandoned on the excuse that the revenue of the state dropped. It is obvious the govt spends more on his un-useful aides than on projects that can impact on the people. This attitude will hurt APGA in the next election.
