Pastor engages wife in mortal combat

                                                     
Yemisi Abiose Ajayi, the wife of a senior pastor with the Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministries, has shouted out on the way and manner her husband, Pastor Tunde Tolulope Ajayi, has turned her into a punching bag and beats her at the slightest provocation.

Not able to take the constant battery which has turned her into a pulp, she took to social media to solicit for help before the man kills her.

The last straw that broke the camel's back, according to her, happened at the Casso, Alagbado, Lagos State home when Pastor Ajayi beat her mercilessly during and argument and she had to pack out of the house for her dear life.

In a Facebook post put up on Yemisi's behalf by Ify Onyegbule, a Violence Against Women activist, the poor woman has decided to run for her life because her husband has vowed to kill her, pointing out that she has had to endure the brutality of her husband for  the 17 years they had been married but couldn't take it anymore when one of her 3 children died and her husband has never given her peace.

Domestic violence is growing in greater proportion in the country and there must be concerted efforts to stop it.

There was this case where a man beat up and stabbed his wife because she misplaced a box of matches.
