Journalists mourn colleague

                                                        
The journalism world, especially the society and entertainment sectors, have been thrown into mourning as one of the finest celebrity journalists in the country, Foluso Samuel, passed on after a very brief illness.

The shocking news was broken by another of his colleague, Folorunso Hamzat on Facebook in the early hours of today and since then, there has been an outpour of emotions, tears and tribute for the deceased.

Samuel, a long time reporter with society magazine, Encomium, rose through the ranks to become the Deputy Editor, before he moved on to float his own magazine, The Society Nigeria.

According to a colleague , Samuel  had been battling with a bout of typhoid fever for some days and when it seemed he had overcome the ailment, the shocking news came that he had given up the ghost.

Samuel was best known for his incisive coverage of celebrity weddings that had taken him to many parts of the world.
