Gunmen Kidnap Oba of Apaa Bunu

                                                  
Reports say His Royal Highness Oba Adebisi Obademi, the Oba of Apaa Bunu in Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State, was kidnapped at Gun-point at Akiso Aba Ebira, near Agbadu Bunu.

An eyewitness who narrated the story said “We just heard gunshots around Akiso and we saw the royal father dragged on the tarred road before they bundled him into his vehicle and also carried a sack owned by the royal father. We don’t know the content of the bag."

Adding that “We couldn’t identify them because they were masked and probably trailed the royal father to that point. The sporadic gunshots scared everyone in Agbadu as we scampered to safety. So we couldn’t rescue the Oba."
