Danny ings ruled out for the rest of the season

Danny Ings is out for the rest of Liverpool's season with a knee injury, according to Sky sources.

The 23-year-old striker, who made his England debut against Lithania on Monday night, ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament in a routine training session at Melwood on Wednesday.
The summer signing from Burnley will now undergo surgery next week and join Joe Gomez, who also ruptured his ACL this week whilst playing for England U21s, on the sidelines for the rest of the campaign.
