APC chieftain hails Ambode’s S-Court victory

                                            
A CHIEFTIAN of All Progressives Congress, APC, in Lagos State, Mr. Segun Idris, has urged the people of the state to see Governor Akinwumi Ambode’s victory at the Supreme Court as a call to support all efforts at making Lagos a model state.

Speaking in Lagos, Idris noted that the decision of the apex court to uphold Ambode’s victory did not come as a surprise, adding that the judiciary acted in accordance with popular expectations.

His words: “Having been part of the processes that resulted in our victory at the governorship poll, I am not surprised that the Supreme Court, in its wisdom, affirmed the mandate that was freely given to our able governor.”
