Anambra contractors meet over unpaid debts? True or False

                                                     
About 15 Contractors working in Anambra State met yesterday at a Hotel in Awka over about 100 Billion Naira they are owed.

The contractors begged that their names should not be mentioned nor the hotel where they met revealed for fear of victimization.

The contractors expressed sadness that dry season has come and yet no sign that they would be paid.

They said that during Obi’s time, he normally pays one full month to the end of rainy season so that before it ended they would have mobilized to sites to fire work , but that since Willie has not shown signs of paying, it could mean that either he has no money or he is not ready to pay. They said that since he became Governor, he had not paid anything substantial to them and they wondered where Anambra money is.

Please everybody should join the chorus in reminding Gov. Obiano to start work as the dry season is now with us. He should stop marking roads Obi started and are yet to be completed. He should focus on completing those roads.

The contractors resolved to seek meeting with him over their predicament. Many have reduced their staff by 50%. Many have re-located to other States. Many are owing banks.
