Vigilance Bill tears Anambra apart as Obiano sets traditional rulers and Presidents General at daggers edge

www.odogwublog.com has received over 50 calls on the war raging between the traditional rulers and the Presidents General of 177 communities in Anambra state following an executive Bill by Governor Willie Obiano’s administration.

Obiano’s Bill is proposing that Traditional rulers take charge of the security in their communities against what it is now. So the Bill is sent back for amendment by the House of Assembly members who would be amending it on Tuesday against the wishes of the members of Anambra state Association of Town Unions (ASATU).
ASATU members are already contacting their House members against that Executive Bill insisting that Traditional rulers should be Chairman on Advisory capacities as it is now while President Generals remain Vice Chairman but controls the community in Administrative capacity.............
ASATU President Jude Okolo is now on heat as he was shocked on why the game plan to strip PG's of any form of relevant in the fourth tiers of government ............
