Police Raid Freedom House, Arrest 200 Biafran Members, Uwazurike's Where-about Unknown

www.odogwublog.com reports that the freedom house of the Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB,  at Owerri, the Imo State capital, was in the wee hours of yesterday reportedly raided by the Police said to have come from zone 9, Umuahia and about 200 members of MASSOB arrested.                                     
Addressing newsmen in Onitsha while reacting to the raid, the three MASSOB coordinators in Anambra state, Emmanuel Omenka-Anambra North, Vincent Iloh-AnambraCentral and Mrs Virginia Ubazuonu  hinted that the where-about of their leader, Chief Ralph Uwazurike is unknown since the raid took place.                                                                                                                                       Speaking through their spokesman, Omenka, they said, "when they stormed the freedom house they (police) arrested seven of our members and took them to Umuahia and since then we have not seen our leader".
                                                                                                                    Omenka disclosed that the raid was not unconnected with MASSOB earlier alarm about two months ago that President Mohammadu Buhari has perfected arrangement to eliminate Chief Uwazurike.                                                                       
  "You will recall that about two months ago we raised the alarm that President Mohammadu Buhari wanted to eliminate our leader.                                                                                                                                                                
 So you can see that what we said has come to be the truth because the president does not want anything good about the Igbo nation and no amount of intimidation and arrest will deter us from the struggle to actualize
a sovereign state of Biafra", Omenka stated further. 
                                                                                                   
He warned that they would not take it kindly with the Federal Government if anything happens to Uwazurike.


  They recalled the killing of three MASSOB members in Onitsha by the Inland town police division and the killing of another two members by the Navy at Uga junction, Onitsha adding that enough is enough.
