Of Criticism, Constructivism And Correctionism in Proposition and Opposition Politics by Nwankwo Justin

I have followed keenly the gradual but consistent drumming of the arrival of 2017 by the people and citizens of Anambra State online and offline as per the arrival of another opportunity for Gubernatorial Elections.

Change, a mantra heralded by Heraclitus of Miletus is now vigorously campaigned by opposition while Continuity which itself is "change in motion " is vigorously pushed by the proposition team. This is simply robust democracy and an awakening of a youthful generation who were at once asleep and uninterested in the political events of their society. We must acknowledge the Political Renaissance in our time. But then, how do we proceed and still remain friends with objectivity and not propaganda?

Let me quote C.P Varkey, the Author of " Be Human and Be Holy" .... "When propaganda becomes the vehicle in a democracy, democracy becomes Mobocracy...."

While Propaganda is a necessary ingredient of politicking, it does not essentially translate to effective understanding and Implementation of the concept of " Change". For, if propaganda by all means and in all means and with all means and for all means translates into an unknown, unsubstantiated, unquantified and unqualified change...then citizens may end up in a perennial request and aspirations for change... A change that will always negate the peoples will and choice.

It is, therefore, necessary that opposition in creating and recruiting platforms and people's for the task of criticism do not muzzle validity and facts. I choose not to use the word " truth" for it is a relative term, highly debatable depending on which divide one stands. Let me pause and define the word " Propaganda "

PROPAGANDA: "Information, especially of a biased or a misleading nature, used to promote a political cause or point of View"

It implies from the above that criticism must not be foundationed in a misleading or biased nature less it becomes propaganda to further a PDP or APC or APGA cause with intent to make the non educated and common people a mob.... Willing one at that to be used as a tool!

Let me be alittle direct having defined the concern I have. The news, counter news and publications now in vogue by some members of the opposition party in Anambra State casts a picture of pull-him-down-by-all-means syndrome. It is called by some folks as going for the jugular and drenching the life out of the current Government. It is a knowledge I have that on authority men are being recruited ahead of the " Election " now called battle and even war in some circles.

The message and brainwashing which these old and new recruits will be charged to preach as Hausa /Fulani pedestrian Othman Dan fodio Jihadist against our great party APGA will be these ;

The Governor has done absolutely nothing on Security!!!!

He has done absolutely nothing on Education!!!!

He has done absolutely nothing in Economy!!!!

He has done absolutely nothing In Transportation!!!

He Has Absolutely done nothing in Waste Management and Environmental Cleanliness!!!

He has done nothing absolutely on Foreign and Inter State Policy!!!

He has done absolutely nothing on Media and Publicity!!!!

He is absolutely the best, highest and finest drinker of Champagne

He is the first and certainly the only Governor with a bill board or billboards mounted in his Name!!!

He must come down from the Bill Boards and go to the chalk boards to teach in the primary and secondary school!

He must come down from the bill board and go to roads boards to drive the tractors and complete all projects

He must come down from the bill board and go to Ukpor General Hospital properly equipped and furnished by the past Administration but which have become so deserted with only brooms in just a period of one year and six months.!!!

He must come down from the bill board and go to erosion sites and utilise the ecological fund left separately for him in a bank as that of 75billion left for him in cash and bond to rescue erosion sites!!!

Willie must come down from the billboards and scrap off SURE -P written on the boats for ASUBEB and divert the boats meant for river rine teachers for his private cruise at Omabala River near his home town Aguleri!!!

As it stands, all efforts is to correct the error of 2013 either by hook or crook come 2017... Propaganda, Blackmail, Intimidation and Denigration are the Weapons of Mass Destruction

Willie is the greatest Mistake of the Century!!! A mistake made by God through the Instrumentality of Ex Governor Peter Obi. A mistake all men and women of Anambra State must go and correct on 2017 by voting another candidate.. This time unknown yet, but certainly sent by God again perhaps through same Peter Again!!

I shall sit and ponder while the sun is sinking low!!! Please allow me to Ponder
