Love as 27-yr-old weds 70-yr-old lover

                           
Sometimes, love comes in different shapes and forms and such has been played out as a 27-year-old man from the Mukono tribe in Zimbabwe, Steven Tikubuwana, has defied every rejection by friends and family and has vowed to make his union with a 70-year-old great grandmother, Zaituni Nakanda, legal before the year runs out.

The love birds who have been living together in Kyungu in the Mukono municipality in a house to Nakanda, according to Sunday Vision, have concluded plans to tie the knots despite what anyone says because they are very much in love.

When he was interviewed by the paper, Tikubuwana said he met the woman last year after he losing his job as a shamba boy.

“I lost my job and was homeless for about two months. She welcomed me into her home. At first, she seemed afraid, but later warmed up to me.”

Tikubuwana added that though his relatives and friends may not be happy with their relationship, he does not care as long as he is in love.

Comparing Nakanda to his former wife with whom he had two children, Tikumbuwana said the elderly woman is faithful, caring and very good in bed.

Nakanda who had been single since 1993 when she left her former husband, also expressed her delight at getting a new husband, describing it as a miracle.

She said she is indifferent to the negative comments regarding their relationship and is very happy that the young man is never ashamed to introduce her as his wife.
