Jubilation as Unizik admission criteria released

There is jubilation among parents and prospective students of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka as a new policy for admission has been released.
Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof Joseph Ahaneku in a statement signed by the Director Information and Public Relation , Dr Emmanuel Ojukwu stated ‘’A new policy is in place for admission in UNIZIK for the 2015/2016 academic year.
‘’ In the past, admission was based on pass mark of 40 and above in Post UTME but now a candidate who scores below 40 such as 30 or even 25 in post UTME has the possibility of being considered for admission based on aggregate score calculated with the combination of post UTME and jamb score.
The statement concluded‘’ So candidates who scored below 40 in post UTME but performed well in jamb should not lose hope of being admitted. The possibility is there’’.
