GIRL, 23, ABDUCTED AND RAPED BY BROTHER'S LED GANG. ATTEMPTS SUICIDE.

A 23 years old accounting student of Abia poly, Miss Chinemerem Nworgu who had been abducted by her own brother's gang and kept in an undisclosed location in Aba had been gang raped. Information had it that the victim was kidnapped after a serious family disagreement. It would be recalled that the victim was about to be married out to her rich suitor who was accepted by her parents. However, her elder brother who is a student of EBSU disagreed with the proposed marriage and even threatened the suitor's life. This led to a serious family dispute and when the angry brother sensed that he was about to lose his fight he quickly arranged a gang and kidnapped the sister and took her to an unknown location. The boy left his sister in custody of the other gang members and went to make a withdrawal in the ATM machine somewhere inside town, only to come back and see his sister in tears with torn shirt and bra with her pant completely off.     The victim tearfully narrated to her brother how his friends took turns in raping her and there was no one to stop them. The family decided against reporting the crime to the police due to the involvement of the brother in the abduction. The poor girl had been taken to an undisclosed hospital in Aba for medical examination and she was back in her hometown in Imo state where she is recuperating. The guilty brother has since switched off his two cell phones and went hiding. It was learned that on hearing the sad news, the rich suitor changed his mind concerning the troubled marriage proposal and went back to his base in the federal capital-Abuja.

    Few days later, after learning that her dream of marrying the rich suitor had gone up in smokes, the utterly devastated Chinemerem stabbed her self and was bleeding profusely before her room mate walked inside the room and raised alarm and she was rushed to a hospital for the second time.
