Exposed: Why MASSOB members were killed and arrested in South East

www.odogwublog.com reports exclusively that the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has exposed why their members are killed daily and arrested by the Nigerian Security operatives.

Factional National Director of Information, MASSOB Faction Comrade Uchenna Madu disclosed this in a press statement in Awka, Anambra state capital made available to www.odogwublog.com .


The statement read in part: ‘’The Factional Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) operating from MASSOB Headquarters, Okwe has vowed to expose the insensitivity of Ralph Uwazuruike leadership of his MASSOB faction.

‘’Our faction sympathize with the brainwashed and hypnotized members of Uwazuruike faction who stupidly died and detained on the occasion of celebrating the 16 years anniversary of MASSOB while their leader Ralph Uwazuruike was dinning with his friends.

‘’After police invasion of Uwazuruike’s resident opposite Ojukwu Memorial Library and arrested some security men, Uwazuruike went to Umuahia on a special arrangement to visit the Assistant Inspector General, Zone 9 where he assured the police that his MASSOB is not to break Nigeria, cause trouble, violent or restlessness for Buhari administration.

‘’To further convince the AIG, Ralph Uwazuruike informed him that he has already signed an agreement of Memorandum of Understanding on September 2013 with Al Mustapha, Alhaji Asari Dokubo, Dr. Fredrick Fasheun and Alhaji Yerima Sani to derail from any activities that will affect the oneness of Nigeria.

‘’After some consultation with Abuja, Ralph Uwazuruike was released after assuring the police that the anniversary will not hold.

‘’When he returned back to Owerri he fled to Lagos without telling his factional members to call off the anniversary or celebrate indoors. His insensitivity and callousness towards the members resulted on the deaths and detention of his factional members.

‘’If Ralph Uwazuruike is a selfless leader who has the interest of his members of at heart and who still believes in MASSOB programmes and possibility of Biafra Actualization, which church did he attended his own thanksgiving? Did he celebrate in his house or hotel? Why is it that Ralph Uwazuruike did not attend any church in Igboland to celebrate the 16 years anniversary of MASSOB struggle to actualize Biafra?

‘’Though the celebration is a yearly ritual but in revolution when a major programme is introduced there must be a tangible vision and aim to be actualize.

‘’This 16 years anniversary with no single aim of achievement led to the unnecessary and stupid death and detention of our Comrades who still believe in Uwazuruike’s Biafra. We condemn the stupidity and insensitivity of some of Uwazuruike’s factional members who always endangered their lives because of Ralph Uwazuruike who has no single interest in their personal and family welfare.

‘’Many are still in mortuary and detained in police cells and Nigeria prisons, proper burial have not been given to those who died on active service even their families have not been consoled. Those whose dead bodies were not recovered from security agents have been forgotten. We shall probe Uwazuruike’’, MASSOB concluded.
