Commissioner for Environment Chinwe Nwaebili begs Anambra on clean and healthy Anambra

Ndi Anambra have been called upon to cooperate with the State Government in its various efforts aimed at making the state clean and healthy.
In a statement signed by the Commissioner for Environment, Honourable Mrs Chinwe Nwaebili, the Ministry reminds Ndi Anambra of the need to obey all environmental laws of the state including disposing of refuse at designated points, clearing blocked drainages, not building on top of drainage channels and paying statutory environmental levies.
She said despite the recent heavy rainfall which has affected refuse evacuation and operations at the dumpsites, the Ministry of Environment appeals for patience as it has increased its efforts at removing the remaining refuse from the streets.
The Environment Commissioner reiterated the need for the state citizenry to support the Ministry of Environment in ridding the state of filth.
