SOME prominent citizens of Anambra State have continued to express their views on the recent appointment of the federal government as well as the developmental strides of the Anambra state, especially as it marks 24 years of existence.
Pouring his mind on the leadership system of the state, the member representing Anambra East and West in the Federal House of Representatives,r Peter Madubueze, said that past governors of the state had contributed immensely to the well being of the state.
Mr Madubueze noted that the present administration of Governor Willie Obiano had gone extra miles in projecting the state to the limelight.
The federal legislator commended Governor Obiano's prudent management and leadership prowess, especially in restoring security in the state, adding that Anambra had recorded more development than the states created alongside it.
On the recent appointment by President Mohammadu Buhari, Mr Madubueze regretted that ndigbo were being marginalized.
He opined that ndigbo were fighting and castigating themselves which had relegated them to poor background and urged president Buhari to streamline his appointments to cut across every tribe as he is the President of all .
In the same vein, an industrialist and APGA stalwart, Ben Emeka described the appointment of President Buhari as sympathetic and one sided, saying that many people in different tribes were qualified for any enviable position.
Chief Ben expressed disappointment as things are going on at the Federal level, urging the President to balance his government.
Sir Ben on the other hand commended Governor Obiano for the infrastructural and human development he had put in place in the state.
He therefore expressed gratitude for the on- going airport construction in the state, saying it would boost the states' economy.
