The suspected Islamic Moral Crusader and the coordinate, Association of people Living with Sickle Cell, Aisha Edward has declare her intention join Christian faithful in their worship.

Aisha who spoke with journalists in Awka said her new live was motivated by the unprecedented support she gets from some religious leaders in the state.

" I am overwhelmed by the kind gesture I have been getting from some clergymen like the Anglican Bishop of Awka, Bishop Ibezim, the Catholic Bishop of Awka, Bishop Paulinus Ezeokafor, the Anglican Bishop of Aguata diocese, Bishop Efuobi and others clergymen "

"In line with this, I will be going for thanksgiving to mark my repentance on the 18th of October,2015, at St. Patrick's Cathedral, Awka, Anambra state, as well as on the 25th of October, 2015, at St. Faith's Cathedral, Awka ."
The coordinator noted  that the  thanksgiving was to thank god for keeping the Sickle Cell patients alive despite the stigma and complications they face in their life.
She called on government and other meaningful individuals to key-in in the fight to arrest Sickle cell by being supportive so as to give the patients hope of living.

While thanking those who have been donating to the association, Aisha beckoned on philanthropists to provide them with a bus to assist the association in transporting their patients to hospital for emergency
