APC guber candidate hails ita enang’s appointmen

                        
The All Progressive Congress (APC) Guber Candidate for Akwa Ibom State in the last General Elections in the country, Mr. Umana Okon Umana has hailed President Mohammadu Buhari for appointing Senator Ita Enang an indigene of the state as Senior Special Assistant to the President on Nation Assembly Matters (Senate).
Mr. Umana in a statement in Uyo expressed confidence on the ability of the Ex-Chairman of the Senate Committee on Rules and Business to deliver on his present appointment, congratulated the appointee and urged him to make the people of Akwa Ibom State proud.
The one-time Secretary to the state government further said that the appointment on a sign of the recognition of the people in the state and urged him to pledge his full support to the government of President Muhammadu Buhari.
“Let nobody be deceived, the current president knows what he is doing and he is on the right track. He is determined to ensure fairness and justice at all levels. Anybody who thinks he can get away with or any form of impunity as witnessed in the past regime should know that the game is over”
Buhari, he said is a “man who will never sit back and allow anyone to be cheated. I urge everyone to give the appointee the necessary support to enable him discharge his duties effectively”.
He added, like I always said, the “APC is a party where you get recognition for credibility and good work and I therefore urge the people of the state who are not yet members of the party to join the train and enjoy the dividends of democracy”.
Senator Ita Enang was until his appointment, a member of the legal team representing Umana Okon Umana at the governorship Election Tribunal where Udom Emmanuel is presently the incumbent governor.
