Ogbunike Marketers appeal for construction of LINK ROAD,as Obiano turns 60

                                                        
 As the people of Anambra State Salutes Chief Willie Obiano on his Sixtieth Birthday Anniversary, the Caretaker Executives of Building Materials Dealers Market ,Tollgate, Ogbunike, Oyi LGA ,has showered praises on him on his achievements so far in the state and noted that his exceptional leadership styles and result oriented leadership will continue to enhance development in the state.

Making this known while briefing the press on the condition of the market in their office at Building Materials Market, Ogbunike, the Chairman of the Caretaker Committee of the market, Chief Gabriel Momegha ,stated that the entire traders of the market will ever remain grateful to the governor and the State Commissioner of Commerce, Hon. Ifeatu Onejeme for their relentless efforts to ensure the existence of the market and passionately appealed to Gov Obiano to help them more by constructing the only link road to the Market from the defunct tollgate axis of Enugu-Onitsha expressway to the market.

Chief Momegha explained that so far, Anambra State Government has already provided a giant transformer for efficient power supply in the market, toilet facilities and that the market is booming as there is an increase in number of traders in the market as a result of the recent government action in ejecting members of the market from their former abode at William Street Onitsha.

On their members who still refused to come into the market and occupy their shops, the Chairman appealed to them to sheathe their swords and forget whatever was their grievances and  come in and occupy their shops in Building Materials Market, Ogbunike, assuring that nobody will witch-hunt them.

Also speaking, Elder David Onubogu ,the Secretary of the Caretaker Committee, Mr. Clifford Ikeh and Chief Ernest Gwacham and other members of the committee appealed to members of the market who are still adamant to come inside the market and commence business to change their minds and immediately come in and occupy their shops .

They thanked Gov Obiano and the State Commissioner of Commerce, Hon. Ifeatu Onejeme for their support to traders in Anambra State.

Contributing, Sir Silas Ikeh, KSJ, a former Vice Chairman of the market, thanked Gov Obiano and the State Commissioner of Commerce for hearkening to the voice of the traders of the market.
   
He blamed whatever happened in the past to misinformation on the part of some traders and appealed to all the traders of the market to come together and ensure that the market thrives, stressing that the market has brighter future if all the traders of the market will rally round and ensure that the market is developed.
