Nigerian Immigration denies ISIS visa case

Job hungry Nigerian graduates scrambling for test papers at the infamous Immigration Service recruitment exercise held in Abuja March 15, 2014.
In a swift reaction, the Nigerian Immigration Service has released a statement saying that there is no record showing that Ahmed Al Assir, the notorious ISIS chief applied for a Nigerian visa.

This is coming on the heels of President Buhari’s call for an investigation on the incident.

This was revealed by the Comptroller General of Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS), Mr David Parrandang.

Parrandang said “We don’t have immigration officers in that country. We understand that the president has ordered investigation into it, so we are waiting for the outcome of the investigation.”

He also said that his men have no hand in the issuance of the visa.

Ahmed Al Assir was arrested on his way to Nigeria, via Cairo, Egypt.
