A few years ago, Hon. Missa Bobbo, was wining and dining with the high and might as he was a member of the Adamawa State House of Assembly, representing Leko-Koma Constituency between 1991 and 1993, but today, he will be dining with the lowest of the low as he has been sentenced to seven years in prison for allegedly trafficking hard drugs.
Bobbo who was sentenced by a Federal High Court sitting in Yola, the state capital, has for company a notorious drug baron in the state, Bappa Madu, according to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).
In a statement signed by the agency's spokesman, Mitchell Ofoyeju, Hon. Bobbo was convicted for possessing 81.9kg of cannabis sativa (Indian Hemp), while Bappa was found guilty of possessing 61.6kg of tramadol.
They were both arrested by the narcotics prevention agency in June 2015.
