A woman who woke up from a 70-day coma surprised everyone by asking why her devoted boyfriend had stayed around.
After a serious car Fu Jun had been taken care of by her family and her boyfriend Chen Ben in a hospital in China's Anshan city, Tencent News reported.
Devoted Chen gave up his job to look after his stricken girlfriend and was at her bedside almost constantly as she lay in a coma for 70 days.

He said: "On the day she woke up from her coma and started to speak, her mum and I were very excited.
"She said, 'Why did you save me? You shouldn't look after me. I don't want to get married, don't want to be a burden.'"
Undaunted, Chen has vowed to help her in her rehabilitation and is set on marrying her after Fu Jun has recovered further.
