Anambra: Tension in National Light as M.D fights staff.

                                               
Anambra State Newspapers (National Light)  in Awka, Anambra state last week in its meeting,  witnessed heavy exchange of power among the senior staff and the Managing Director.

It was observed that the editorial staff and the Managing Director always have their meeting on Thursdays, where they review their weekly newspaper.

On Thursday during the review, it was learnt that  there were errors in the newspaper, where the M.D angrily decided to give everyone one query as usual.

The M.D, Chuka Nnabuife, started insulting the Editor, Chris Aghanya and the Deputy Editor, Nnamdi Chukwujindu before everyone in the meeting.

It was at this point that the Deputy Editor, Mr Nnamdi Chukwujindu stood on his feet with tears in his eyes saying " Chuka, how can you be insulting us before children and be giving people query indiscriminately. Who will give you query?

"You are the Managing director and Editor in Chief and you saw the pages before they were printed, why didn't you correct the errors?"

Since you came to this office, many people have resigned to due your wickedness and egocentric favouritism. You have suspended  almost everyone in the office."

It was learnt that the staff of this newspaper don't have a good working relationship with the M.D since he assumed office.

It was also studied that the staff will come to work in the morning on Wednesday and work till Thursday without food or encouragement.

Odogwublog learnt that the following day, Sir Chuka Nnabuife, started begging Nnamdi Chukwujindu out of fear and promised him to withdraw the query giving to Nnamdi, but maintained to dent the image of the editor, Chris Aghanya.
