Anambra State Ministry of Economic Planning and Budget in collaboration with UNICEF has organised A-3 day training workshop for newly employed planning officers, statisticians, program officers, Heads of Budget, Planning, Research, Statistics and Departments (BPRSD) of the 21 Local Government Area of the state.
The training was based on project formulation, feasibility studies and appraisal of projects.

Mr Azi advised them to avoid conflicts that would thwart the progress of work in their offices.
Delivering his lecture, titled "Team Management", a lecturer from University of Nigeria, Nzukka (UNN), Chikelue Ofuebe said that the essence of the team work was to enhance efficiency and increase speed in production.

The professor also advised workers to always accept advice, show willingness to duties and be supportive to their duties.
Reacting to the lecture, one of the participants from Njikoka Local Government, Orie Ifeyinwa complained that some heads of departments always express arrogance and victimize their subjects, urging the workers to understudy their boss so as to work in accordance with their dictates.
In their different reactions, the Head of Department Planning, Research and Statistics in Oyi Local Government Area and the Head of Department Budget, Planning and Research in Anocha Local Government Area, Ibegbu Uchenna, and Geraldine Nzeribe respectively, said the training would upgrade their knowledge and help to eschew conflicts in their ministries.
