'Your lies won't distract me' - Senate President

Senate President, Bukola Saraki has reiterated his commitment to deliver on his mandate in making sound
legislations that will have positive impact on Nigerians.

In a series of tweets on Friday, July 10, Saraki faulted a group of people who are sponsoring lies against his person, noting that their move has failed as none of their antics would shift his focus from his mandate.

“No matter the pressure, no special interest group can blackmail #8thSenate to do their bidding. I AM ACCOUNTABLE ONLY  TO  NIGERIANS,” the Senate leader said in one of the tweets.
