Osun Workers resume strike

Few days after calling off its strike action, Osun state workers have downed tools again.

According to them, the government reneged on the Memorandum of Understanding they signed with Labour.

The workers say part of the agreement was to pay their January salary in full, but to their amazement, only the junior workers were paid their full salaries, and the senior workers were paid half of their salaries.

The state chapter of the Nigeria Labour Congress, has therefore called for the suspended strike action to resume.
