Planning a wedding is extremely stressful, planning one that is involves two faiths/religions even more so.
A wedding
involving two different religions has a lot of challenges.
In order
to plan a successful one where both religions/faiths/beliefs are incorporated
the right way, do the following:
- You just have to incorporate both of them- For instance, you are a catholic marrying a Muslim, you have to find a way to incorporate both faiths so no one feels neglected.
- Neutral Location- With an interfaith wedding, you just have to use a neutral location for your ceremony. This way, no one feels slighted.
- Compromise- Both of you have to decide which traditions or components of your religions mean something to you personally and you both want to include in your wedding in some way.
- Have detailed programs- In order to make everyone feel included in the ceremony, have a detailed program
