Tension as Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) redeploys 40 officers

www.odogwublog.com reports that the Federal Road Safety Corps has redeployed 40 senior officers, including Deputy Corps Marshall, Ahmed Hassan, who is now in charge of Special Marshals and Partnership Department at the National Headquarters, Abuja.
The redeployment also affected six Assistant Corps Marshals and 33 Corps Commanders, including Zonal Commanding Officers and Sector Commanders across the various formations of the Corps.
A statement by the Corps Public Education Officer,  Imoh Etuk, on Tuesday in Abuja, Corps Commander Chidi Nkwonta is now the Sector Commander of Benue State while Corps Commander Bisi Kazeem, formerly Head of Sports Section at the Training, Standards and Certification Department, is now in charge of Media Intelligence and Strategy in the office of the Corps Marshal.
In the same vein, former Corps Provost Officer,  Edward Zamber, is now the Sector Commander of Ondo State while the Deputy Corps Provost Officer, Ayodele Kumapayi, is the new Sector Commander of River State Sector Command.
The redeployments and appointments take immediate effect.
The statement reads, “The redeployments, which is coming on the heels of last week’s decoration of recently promoted senior officers of the Corps with their new ranks, also witnessed the movement of Corps Commander Susan Ajenge from the FCT Sector Command to Niger State as Sector Commander, while Corps Commander Sunday Oghenekaro, former Sector Commander of Rivers State, moves over to the FCT in the same capacity.”
