Senate President deletes controversial tweet

The twittosphere has been awash with the Senate President’s controversial tweet on the approval of the service chiefs’ appointment.

This tweet embarrassment started when a young Nigerian with the Twitter handle @chinair tweeted the Senate President saying he hoped they would re-convene to approve the appointment of the service chiefs.

Few minutes later, the Senate President replied in a tweet, saying it was not the job of the Senate to approve the appointment of service chiefs.
