Resident Benin Republic citizens drum support for Buhari’s administration

Govi Vincent, President, Abuja chapter of the Association of Benin Republic Citizen in Nigeria, on Tuesday
drummed support for President Buhari’s administration.

Speaking with thepress in Abuja, Vincent described Nigerians as being warm and accommodating, adding that he had no cause to regret his stay in the country.

“We are delighted to be in Nigeria and will continue to contribute our quota to the development of the country," he said..

According to him, every Benin Republic citizen in Nigeria is a member of many associations in the country and as such is duty bound to be law-abiding.

Vincent, therefore called on relevant government agencies in Nigeria, to assist some of their citizens with necessary papers and work permits, to enable them contribute positively to the Nigerian economy.

Contributing, Todedji Richard, the General Secretary of the association, said Benenoise in Nigeria were very proud of the country, especially the success recorded during the 2015 General Elections.

He therefore urged Nigeria to continue to play her leadership in Africa for the development of the continent.

Kounnou Casmir, an official of the association,said that the association had been existing in Nigeria since 1998.

Casmir urged members of the association to be good ambassadors of Benin Republic.
