President to visit Cameroon July 29

President Muhammadu Buhari has said that he will pay a visit to Cameroon on Wednesday, July 29, 2015.

Buhari made the disclosure on Wednesday, July 22, 2015, while speaking at the US Institute of Peace.

The president explained that his visit to Cameroon will serve as part of his government’s efforts to rid Nigeria of terrorist group, Boko Haram by seeking help from its neighbours.

Buhari had earlier paid visits to Niger and Chad to discuss the creation of a multinational force against the sect.
 Nigeria and its neighbours agreed on Thursday to set up a joint military force to counter Boko Haram, a sign of President Muhammadu Buhari's intent to crush the Islamist militant group early in his tenure.

The Nigerian president is currently on a four-day official visit to the US.
