Nigeria Police Management on Tuesday raised an alarm on fake recruitment adverts being run “by some criminally minded persons, who are out to defraud unsuspecting members of the public”.

Force Public Relations Officer, Emmanuel Ojukwu, in a terse statement said there was no recruitment going on at the moment.

He appealed to members of the public not to be deceived or fall prey to mischief makers.

The spokesman assured that openings will be announced in due course.

He reiterated the resolve of the Inspector-General, Solomon Arase, in apprehending individuals behind the dubious adverts.
