Inauguration of the Management Committee Onitsha Sports Club

The Magistrate, Magistrate Court of Awka , Chief Magistrate Mrs Udedike has enjoined the newly executive members of the Onitsha Sports Club to take the oath of office administered on them seriously to enable the club placed on the citadel of social activities where it truly belonged .

Mrs Udedike who gave the charge while inaugurating the Management Committee members Onitsha Sports Club reminded them that the oath clause played an important role by obliging recipients to observed the limit of their authority and act in accordance with power delegated to them by the constitution .

According to her ,this the first time the oath of office is being adminstered to the management committee of Onitsha Sports Club which will be mile stone and consolidated them for it, adding that  the significance of  adminstering an oath of office can never be ove emphasized due to the benefits accrue from it.

Presenting an address of welcome , the president Mr. Felix Nwosu thanked the members for their confidence on them by electing him to serve them Twelve Calender month especially those re-elected for 2nd tenure as noted that the club is their second home.

Mr. Nwosu who solicited for the co-operation of the members as their support will help them to fulfilled all their electioneering campaign promise listed absolute discipline within the club , prompt payment of dues and redemption of pledges by members to enable them stand the exiting maintenance structure in the club.

The President however, warned them not to sit on the fence and critized their administration ss they will welcome their constructive criticism as the management will not hesitate to give immediate action and solve the problem.

In their separate contributions,  the vice president Dr. Arinze Modebe and the secretary of te club, Mr. Charles Ubadineke who noted the expectation from them by the members are high citing that their constitution will be amend to suit the temperament of the club as enforcing their paramount aims of their administration.

They also noted that the newly management committee of the club and bring its past glory of the club as they are now faced with multipurpose projects.

Inauguration of the eleven man management committee and administering of oath of office by the Magistrate, Magistrate Court of Awka added glamour to the occasion.
