PRESS RELEASE OF NDIGBO UNITY FORUM
MONTHLY MEETING

Ndigbo Unity Forum (NUF) an Igbo Socio Cultural Organization held its monthly meeting on 7th of July, 2015 at Awka, Anmbra State. During the duration of the meeting that lasted more than three hours the following issues were discussed.
1.  Ohaneze Ndigbo Leadership tussle
2.  Unacceptable spreading of hate by one Mr. Nnamdi Kanu
3.  Recent relocation of Boko Haram suspects to South East.
4.  Reviewing of the recent meeting of South East governors.
      After thorough deliberation, we unanimously agreed that
  1.        That Chief Gary Nnachi Enwo-Igariwey led exco should stop parading themselves as Ohaneze  Ndigbo excos since their tenure elapsed on 7th January, 2015.
  2.        We called on the caretaker committee set up to ensure that they conduct election to replace the past excos.
  3.        Ndigbo Unity Forum is in support of denouncing and disowning of Nnamdi Kanu Radio Biafra by South East governors forum.
  4.        We commend Chief Okwudili Ezenwanko led Anambra State Amalgamated Traders Association (ASMATA) for leading the protest against the relocation of Boko Haram suspects in South East and condemn the action by Buhari led Federal government.
  5.        Ndigbo Unity Forum commends the South East governors for agreeing in their meeting to tackle the issue of insecurity in the South East region and also for planning to set up a committee that will be chaired by Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu that will see to the realization of an economic hub in the South East.
