Breaking News : Anambra PDP sacks Olisah Metuh, Over rules sack , warns him to sit up

present at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stakeholders meeting convened by Comrade Tony Nwoye, Governorship candidate of PDP in the last election at Marble Arch hotels Awka, the National Publicity Secretary of PDP Chief Olisah Metuh would have been sacked this evening for poor representation of the state in the national executive.
www.odogwublog.com reports that a vote of no confidence was reportedly moved by one Ernest Nwosu from Oko community and Seconded by one Prince Adimola Orji from Ufuma for the sacking of Chief Olisah Metuh from the party as he has failed to unite the party members in the state and and have poorly represented the state PDP at national level.
They accused him of doing nothing to ensure peace returns in the state and for the party to be properly constituted to be able to contest and win elections, yet he has been a national officer in the last 8 years. The no confidence vote was unanimous and would have affected Metuh greatly as they asked him to pack his bags and baggage back to Anambra state.
But a prominent member from Nnewi whose name www.odogwublog.com could not get at as press time rose against the motion even though they concurred with the position of those who wanted Metuh out but said the forum was not the right one for that as the Governorship candidate Comrade Nwoye convened the meeting to find out the grievances and opinions of the people on the way forward for PDP and not to remove or pass no confidence vote. They wanted Metuh to sit up and work for the good of the party in the state.
Comrade Nwoye reportedly called the meeting to unite and strengthen the party members preparatory for next election.
