President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo have fallen to the 15th and 17 position on Nigeria’s pay scale following their decision to slash their salaries by 50 per cent.
The new ranking is according to a document provided by the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC).
Buhari and Osinbajo’s pay cut was announced on July 10, 2015, as part of their administration’s attempts to reduce the cost of governance.
The President will now earn N585, 784.10 monthly while his deputy will earn N505,262.08.
