Rojenny, Obidigwe tasked youths To Explore Skills in Sports



www.odogwublog.com reports that the Founder of Rojenny Tourist Village, Chief Rommy Ezeonwuka has
charged Igbo youths to explore their talents and skills in sports with a view to contributing in developing the country.

Chief Ezeonwuka, who stated this in an interview with newsmen shortly after Governor Willie Obiano commissioned his Olympic Tartan tracks, posited that sports helped developed countries like Jamaica to attain their present status.

He praised the state Governor, Chief Willie Obiano for repositioning sports in the state, because according to him, the kind gesture would not only help in forestalling security challenges in the State, but will assist immensely in empowering youths to become self-reliant and job creators.

Governor Obiano had earlier flagged-off the 2015 Athletic Federation of Nigeria/Anambra Golden League (Athletics) and the Commissioning of Anambra States new-Olympic Standard Tartan Tracks at Rojenny stadium, Oba where over 400 National and International Athletes challenge themselves.

In a speech during the occasion, Governor Obiano had assured that his administration was determined to restore the pride of Ndi-Anambra in all sporting events.

Also speaking in an interview, Comrade Chinedu Obidigwe, the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Willie Obiano on Politics said that the state governor would continue to cater for the common goods of the Anambrarians, especially the youths.

Obidigwe, who was the immediate past SA to Gov. Obiano on Youths Mobilization, stressed that the Rojenny Tourist village was in best condition for hosting the tournament, noting that it has all the facilities for both local and international sporting events of all kinds.
