Prof Ahaneku holds first ever exhibition of Research works, inventions and ideas in Unizik

(UIRC) of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka (Unizik) has ended.

Prof Joseph Ahaneku is the first Vice Chancellor to initiate such daring move as a measure to drive the university to the next leve.

The Chair of the vent was Prof. Ogbo who stated that the theme of the Exhibition is Technology; for the diversification of Nigerian economy while Guest Lecturer was Engr. Lucky Nwose from NOTAB Abuja,
.Prof Ahaneku informed the audience that this exhibition was his brain-child. He stroked the mark when he said that the very reason why he took this path was to tell the world that days have gone when the University would remain “orthodox or conservative” but rather a “progressive and dynamic” in orientation where “we have to use our hands to tell the world what we preach when they see the products of our students. The language of production, value chains for industrial production should be our focus”. Prof. Ahaneku went further to highlight that Chisco Motors had entered into partnership with UNIZIK, so that students can under studies and training with Chisco Institute of Transportation Management for the 21st century vehicle.
