www.odogwublog.com was told that Governor Willie Obiano will in a state broadcast Monday morning announce a slash in the take home of political office holders.
www.odogwublog.com reports that Obiano had increased the Political officer holders allowances and benefits by 300 percent earlier this year but was kicked against by the labour leaders and civil servants. He will be reducing it to conform with the request of workers as they all buy from the same market….
Several calls to the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Politics , Chinedu Obidigwe was not answered or calls returned. Efforts made too to get the SSA Media, James Eze was unsuccessful as he did not pick his call.
www.odogwublog.com could not confirm the authenticity of the report but the informant said the Governor decided on that after visiting Synod of the Anglican diocese on the Niger at Ogidi on Friday. He said the Governor will cut the political office holders allowances by 60 percent.
