Law students harvest prizes from International Inter-University Moot court competition at Unizik


www.odogwublog.com reports exclusively that the 3rd edition of Sir B.E.I Nwofor (SAN) annual International Inter-
University Moot Court Competition with theme: In the Footsteps of Learned Silk and Sire, held at the Moot Court Hall, Faculty of Law, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka (Unizik), Anambra state has concluded with law students harvesting different prizes.

The students’ leaders from various Universities were so excited that their representatives presented responses that thrilled the hosts and guests alike.

 Mmaduka Chibueze represented University of Benin, UNIBEN, and Gabriel Nnamdi Nwodo, represented Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, UNIZIK  expressed their gratitude to God for using Sir Nwofor (the sponsor) to add more value to their choosing profession, while praying for God’s blessings over him.

UNIBEN got N100,000, while UNIZIK got N70,000 and ESUT got N50,000 among other prizes won. The participants did not fail to recognize the efforts of the new Vice Chancellor of Unizik , Prof Joseph Ahaneku who is one year in office this June for turning the University in the right direction.

But the sponsor of the Annual International Inter-University Moot Court Competition prize and a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Sir Beluolisa Emmanuel Ikechukwu Nwofor rather than praise the law students across the nation, charged them to work harder and to exhibit at all times good behavior and discipline which according to him will enable them to attain to any level in their various endeavours.
