Enugu Gov. reassures peace

 

The Executive Governor of Enugu State, Rt. Hon Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Gburugburu, has
assured the people of the state that he would sustain the peace as a reward for the massive support given him during his electionaring campaign which gave him victory at the polls.
Hon Ugwuanyi , gave the assurance at Nsukka when the Ordinary People of Nsukka (OPON)and other stakeholders from Enugu North  Senatoral Zone received him two days atter his inauguration as the State Chief Executive.

He stated that, he would equip and modernse Nsukka Town because  it is a university founded over several decades, noting that Nsukka seconds Enugu as the largest in the state.

 “within one month, action of development projects would start on the streets of Nsukka”, Ugwuanyi told the people of the zone.

Several traditional troopes entertatined during the ceremony. Present were the Deputy Governor, Mrs Cecilia Ezeilo, OPON members, traditional rulers, stakeholders and prominent indigenes of the zone. The National Director-General of OPON, Chief Onyema Idoko read  the welcome adress on behalf of the people.
